Ultrasonography: Fundamentals in Critical Care

April 24-26, 2009
Hyatt Regency Bonaventure
Ft. Lauderdale, FL

Critical Training in Critical Care

Plan now to attend this intensive course for intensive care, emphasizing hands-on skill-building opportunities and detailing the three critical components of ultrasonography.

  • Knowledge base will be increased through lectures that focus on important uses of critical care ultrasonography.

  • Image interpretation will be facilitated in group sessions under the supervision of a single faculty member. A large number of ultrasound images demonstrating normal and pathologic findings will be used to give you a comprehensive learning opportunity. As you gain skill, the format will become more challenging, with unknown cases to test your skills.

  • Image acquisition will be practiced during hands-on, small-group workshops. Practice skills using high-quality ultrasound technology on live patient models, supervised by experienced faculty to guide and maximize your training.
