Every intubation in the ICU can be a difficult airway. This course will provide participants with a state-of-the-art, systematic overview and hands-on experience with the preparation, teamwork, and tools that it takes to manage common and complex airway situations. Each participant will have the opportunity to:
- Review the fundamental skills of intubation
- Identify exam findings associated with a difficult airway
- Experience advanced tools for airway management
- Work together to solve airway problems in a high fidelity, simulated clinical environment using scenarios developed from real-life cases.
