Making a Real ImpactThe ACCP is an internationally recognized leader in continuing medical education for clinical pulmonary, critical care, and sleep medicine. As a driving force in the development and delivery of innovative education programs, the ACCP utilizes state-of-the-art simulation education techniques in its ACCP Simulation Center for Advanced Clinical Education to provide hands-on learning opportunities for practicing physicians and their teams. Now open in the ACCP headquarters, Northbrook, IL, the ACCP Simulation Center offers advanced hands-on, clinical education experiences for up to 40 participants per session. The center features a state-of-the-art education center, including two high-fidelity METI human patient simulators, to provide optimal learning opportunities. The auditorium and lecture area are furnished with wireless Internet access and audiovisual equipment to enhance presentations or to record sessions and courses. Courses offered allow you to develop and refine clinical skills. Emphasis is placed on teaching the current standards of practice, patient safety, evidence-based patient care, and formative assessment. Courses are lead by experienced clinicians who can help you achieve your learning objectives, apply skills to your practice, and make an impact that is real. |
