Fellow
(FCCP)
 US/Canadian
For physicians who are board-certified specialists
in chest medicine, surgery, or critical care medicine and devote
a major portion of their practice to diseases of the chest.
Doctor of Philosophy, Doctor of Pharmacy, Doctor of Science,
and Doctor of Nursing Science active in chest medicine, surgery,
or critical care medicine may also apply.
US/Canadian Fellow: $372/year
US/Canadian Initial FCCP (less than three years out of training-verification required): $240-first year
only
There is a one-time initiation/application fee of $125 for all
those applying to Fellow or Member. This fee is in addition to
the annual dues.
International
For physicians outside the US and Canada,
recognized in their community in disciplines related to chest
medicine, surgery, or critical care medicine, and who devote
a major portion of their practice to diseases of the chest.
International Fellow: $174/year

There is a one-time initiation/application fee of $50 for all
those applying to Fellow or Member. This fee is in addition to
the annual dues.
The cost of International membership,
including the College journal, CHEST, is less than
the cost of a subscription to CHEST.
Member
(United States, Canada, International*)
For physicians who are interested in cardiopulmonary
medicine or surgery, critical care, or related disciplines and
who have certification in their primary specialty, such as Internal
Medicine and/or General Surgery. Training in a subspecialty and
sponsorship are not required. Candidates should be engaged in
clinical medicine, research, teaching, or administration.
US/Canadian Member: $372/year

Member (Physicians-in-Training)
A temporary category for physicians who have
completed their internship and residency and who are currently
enrolled in, or show proof of acceptance into, an accredited
fellowship training program or equivalent program, in clinical cardiopulmonary
medicine or surgery, critical care medicine, or one of the closely
related specialties.

 Allied
Health Member (Nonphysician)
For nonphysician, nondoctoral, nonstudent health professionals or administrators who either (1) provide direct patient care, department supervision at a hospital, or practice administration, or (2) engage in clinical, academic, or research activities. In either case, the qualifying professional activities should be devoted to cardiopulmonary medicine or surgery, critical care medicine, or sleep medicine. Work within other specialties will be considered on a case-by-case basis.

Allied Health Member including the journal CHEST- Print and online version (US and Canada residents only): $120/year
