What is a Sleep Educator?

Sleep educators are health-care professionals who, as part of a multidisciplinary team, provide health care to patients with, or at risk for, various sleep disorders. Sleep educators attain and maintain a core body of knowledge, skills, experience, and expertise in the diagnosis and management of common sleep disorders.

Attend this FREE course designed to empower nonphysician health-care professionals with the skills, expertise, and tools needed to educate, coach, and serve as resources for patients suffering from sleep-disordered breathing. The course will focus specifically on the clinical aspects of sleep-disordered breathing and will present the latest diagnostic and treatment information through a variety of learning formats, including traditional lectures, roundtable discussions, case-based presentations, and simulated patient interviews. Attendees will leave the course with practical skills that can positively impact the quality of life for their patients.
