6th Annual Update in Pulmonary Hypertension

This one-day update is designed for physicians, physician assistants, nurses, and members of the pulmonary hypertension community. It offers the opportunity to consolidate current knowledge and avenues of investigation, which will lead to the education of all participants, exploration of new areas of inquiry, and critical analysis of the state of knowledge in this evolving field. The course is structured with state-of-the-art lectures delivered by internationally recognized experts from North America and Europe. The program supports the efforts noted in the guidelines for pulmonary arterial hypertension.
Objectives
- Identify the current guidelines and research in pulmonary hypertension (PH) as they apply to other disciplines.
- Discuss the current and upcoming therapeutic approaches for PH.
- Identify and demonstrate, to caregivers, patients, and PH supporters, the realistic scope of the information base in seeking alternative, and ideally curative, therapies for PH.
